Perioperative Anesthesia Risk in Class III

As patient populations continue to evolve in outpatient fertility settings, anesthesia planning must evolve alongside them.

In this article, we take a closer look at key perioperative considerations for higher-risk patients, including GLP-1 use, airway management, hydration status, and the importance of individualized care planning. Each of these factors can meaningfully impact patient safety, procedural efficiency, and recovery outcomes.

At Frontenac Anesthesia, we are continually refining our clinical processes to support safe, thoughtful care. This includes tools such as our High BMI Pre-Operative Protocol designed to better prepare patients and promote a smoother perioperative experience.

We remain committed to delivering patient-centered anesthesia care while advancing best practices in fertility medicine. We invite you to review the full article.
