Dr. Amy Wellen has dedicated 13 years to the field of anesthesia, bringing expertise in patient care, pain management, and surgical recovery. As a board member of the Missouri Association of Nurse Anesthetists (MOANA), she plays an active role in shaping healthcare policies that improve patient outcomes and advance the profession.

Her work focuses on standardizing protocols to ensure the highest quality of care in anesthesia techniques, pain management, and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS). She is passionate about implementing best practices that promote safety, efficiency, and better patient experiences.

Dr. Wellen is a leader in her field, committed to innovation and continuous improvement in anesthesia care.

Dr. Jason R. Wellen is a distinguished transplant surgeon with extensive experience in kidney, liver, and pancreatic transplants. He serves as the Chief of Transplant Surgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and holds a full professorship at Washington University School of Medicine. 

Dr. Wellen earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey. He further specialized with a fellowship in abdominal transplant surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. In addition to his medical training, he obtained an MBA from Washington University's Olin School of Business. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Wellen has contributed significantly to medical research, authoring numerous articles focused on kidney and pancreatic diseases. His expertise extends to guiding the business practices of concierge anesthesia groups, where he applies his combined medical and business knowledge to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.

Alyssa has valuable experience in the US healthcare industry, where she has developed a strong understanding of patient care, medical processes, and industry standards. With a background in Humanities and Social Sciences, she brings a well-rounded perspective to her work, combining critical thinking with a deep understanding of human interactions.

She is skilled in communication, problem-solving, and adapting to fast-paced environments. Her passion lies in helping others, ensuring efficiency in healthcare operations, and continuously learning to improve patient experiences. Alyssa is dedicated, detail-oriented, and always eager to make a positive impact in her field.
